NSOSW im. Jana Pawła II przy ZOL for children was founded in October of 1992. During this time there were 60 pupils in our centre and 40 of them attended to classes I-VIII. Apart from school children also attended to special therapies: hippotherapy, hydrotherapy. Pupils were very successful taking part in lots of recitation contests as well as musical and art competitions. Mindful care of teachers, housemothers and nuns created great and warm atmosphere in the centre where children could feel like home.

Pupils, finishing the last class (after meeting with job consultant), try to choose the best schools for themselves. Two of our graduates from that period of time have been studying on the Universities of Lower Silesia. Our children were taught how to live and respect people on the outside and inside the centre. They were taught how to be sensitive, helpful and how to act on their own in the future life.
